i beliieve an audio transducer like what is used in Tudor's "Rainforest" would work nicely. if coupled to the outside surface of the tub, the transducer should activate the tub, the water, and whoever is in it.
one can find them through Richtech Enterprises- the product is called the "Rolen-Star".
