V1 tags, so no UTF-8 support, and it may be the reason random albums
from emusic (emperor, for one) are showing NO metadata.
tried to change the title metadata manually in the playlist file for
some Japanese rock music, but I must have goofed, as that's borked now
-_-

In any case, I suggest...anything better.

I have this in my .emms (see the manual for the full config, you need to
compile something to make it work):

;; Libtag support
(require 'emms-info-libtag)
(setq emms-info-functions '(emms-info-libtag))

Never had a problem with id3v1/v2, ogg, or any other weird format I have
in my music collection.

Is all the information about libtag really in the manual or only in the
README file?

Good point, no mention of libtag/taglib in the manual, it would be nice
to add it.
