For those who have an I-phone or I-pod touch and like toys...

I can see this being useful for dawn and dusk tripod shooting in the winter.

Hi Kyle,

That looks like amazing technology, however it could have limited application here in south-west Manitoba.  Cell phone reception is poor, at best, in many areas around here. Very good reception in Oak Lake and Brandon, but the town of Hartney is one bar, Spruce Woods Provincial Park is zero bars, and our seasonal campground 7 miles west of Oak Lake and 1/2 mile off the Trans Canada highway is sometimes one bar and sometimes zero bars.  And, I shoot Pentax, so I guess cell phone reception doesn't matter for me :-) :-)

I do carry a cell phone with me in the country, but many times I would need a walkie talkie to communicate with my wife because often we can see each other but can't communicate on the phone.  Mind you, any reply I might make is usually "yes dear" :-) :-) and who needs expensive equipment to do that :-)

Regards,

Greg
