IPAPGothic.ttf shows up as ####

I've used IPAPGothic font instead of IPAGothic and found that all the characters are showing as ####. The PDF isn't picking up the English font set, either (reverting to default?).  However, the bullet points which did not show previously with the Japanese PDF are now showing.

What does this signify? What can be done to make the font display properly?

Thanks
Akagi

Can you provide more information:

- What XSL-FO processor are you using?
- How are you specifying the fonts?
- Can you peak inside the FO file and see what the font-family property is
set to in the fo:root element?

Please see in line for details, plus the files I forwarded to your individual account last night.

FOP 0.93-r550098

In the fop.xconf file and customized xsl files, for example:
<xsl:attribute name="font-family">IPAPGothic</xsl:attribute>

I'm afraid I can't find fo:root element in either of the above files. The Japanese PDFs build successfully when using IPAGothic font; IPAPGothic is the proportionately spaced version of the IPAGothic font.
