Identifying pen, eraser, artpen and airbrush

Hi,

How do I get the deviceID for the pen device from within xorg? Can I
use xsetwacom or something i GTK?

Yes, you can if you have an Intuos or Cintiq V5 series device.  Please refer to http://linuxwacom.sourceforge.net/index.php/howto/xsetwacom for options.  You can only get the tool ID or serial number that you used/ are using by xsetwacom (suppose you have a stylus):

xsetwacom get stylus ToolID

xsetwacom get stylus ToolSerial

Hi Ping,

I tried the development source from the linuxwacom page and tested it
with gimp, inkscape, blender and mypaint.
I can't see that it triggered any issues with the programs.
