Image MimeType Problem

Hi All

I am setting the mime type of the JPG image in the pipeline to
Image/gif. In the src param i am giving the source path of the JPG image.

The image which is coming on the web page is still of mime type
image/jpeg but i want it as image/gif. (i.e I am reading a JPG image but
i need output to be in GIF Format.)

Please Correct if i am doing something wrong.

Regards
Gaurav
