Sonification
is precisely what my friend Marty Quinn has been doing for years. I think Orlando presented his proposal at one
of your meetings. I am hoping he
can come and visit when I am there either in January or March-April. He has already sonified
some Venice data See my blog entry regarding Steve’s

2D then could be stepped up to 3D sonification? For example, you have a paper and several colored pens. Draw several bumpy lines in different colors. Photograph the score, assign instruments to the colors, specify time vs distance, and press play. I have the iPhone developer kit and am going through the tutorials now. It's possible that this app will be a reality. Tyler
