Re: Impact of daylight saving on mrtgHi Tobi,
So there will be no gap in MRTG graph when forwarding the clock and no overlapping when it will come back to the original time?? Btw, our MRTG server clock will be forwarded 1 hour in that moment(daylight saving). Your suggestion would be highly appreciated! Hi Firdous, on unix server the time does not change, only the 'localtime' this is merily a rendering based on UTC. If you actually modify the clock of the server, and UTC time is affected by it, then things are bound to go bad ... (not only mrtg and rrdtool though). cheers tobi > > Cheers, > > Firdous Saleheen > > > -----Original Message----- > From: Tobias Oetiker [mailto:tobi@...] > Sent: Monday, June 08, 2009 2:46 AM > To: Firdous Saleheen > Cc: rrd-users@... > Subject: Re: [rrd-users] Imnpact of daylight saving on mrtg > > Hi Firdous, > > Tomorrow Firdous Saleheen wrote: > > > Hi, > > > > We are using MRTG with RRDtool for network monitoring.
