Importing HDF4When I try to import an HDF4 image into the OpenEV application, I get
the following error dialog: Unable to translate <image>.hdf to <image>.tif where <image> is the image's filename. Also, the console shows the following error message: ERROR 1: Unable to export GeoTIFF files with zero bands. Can anything be done to allow for importing HDF products? Allan, If you open the HDF file using the normal File->Open first, it will ask you to select a subdataset from the HDF file. After doing this, if you select File->*Export* it will be operating on the last opened subdataset and you can export to GeoTIFF. If you hit advanced options, turn on overviews, and add TILED=YES in the Creation Options this should be equivelent to the import operation. The problem you are running into is that the import dialog does not use a subdialog for selecting amoung subdatasets as it ought to.
