Improved device choices in combo box

I've committed a change to the GUI that eliminates nonsensical device choices from the pulldown boxes.   For example, a Delorme has no viable choice other than "usb:".   Garmin can be "usb:" or "any serial port".   "Magellan serial protocol" is, unsurprisingly, serial only.  So now the combo boxes are dynamic and are probed when the device is changed.

It stands a good chance of not working on anything other than Mac right now.  I'll wage war on Windows and Linux soon.
