I am modeling the mechanical reponse to soil compression, by means of the triaxial soil simulation. I want to use the Clay Plasticity constitutive law. I have proven to run the simulations with all data requested in the property module. However, when I run the job this abort immediately because the pressure stress is not seated and therefore it is 0. Finding out the answer to this problem I found that inside INITIAL CONDITIONS I need to include pressure stress and to give him value. Inside the help appear that it should be established through the keywords edit and that for the specific case of
this parameter is used only with the FILE parameter. The parameter specifies the step in the results file of a previous ABAQUS analysis from which prescribed fields of TYPE=PRESSURE STRESS are to be read. It can also specify the step in the output database file of a previous ABAQUS analysis from which prescribed fields are to be read.
Please, somebody could help me to edit initial contitions type=pressure stress and to explain me how to run this constitutive law.
