Install documentation

Is there any documentation that describes how to install x.org on a Free BSD system? I downloaded all the source files but I don't know what to do with them.

Any help will be gladly appreciated.

Is there some reason you don't want to use Xorg from the FreeBSD ports tree?  
If you're a glutton for punishment:

I have no idea how well either of them really work on FreeBSD.
