Installation halt at boot

I am trying to install openbsd 4.4 in my powerbook 5,9 (the last released
model) and the installation halts the computer at boot time and also set the
machine clock at the beginning of the UNIX era:  1970 january 1st 00:00

I found this emails
http://www.archivesat.com/OpenBSD_PowerPC_port/thread3963726.htm
discussing the problem but no solution.

I have tried the 4.4, 4.3, 4.1, 3.9, 3.6 and none of the worked, they all
shutdown my machine.

Any tips ?

Thanks in advance guys.

I think the following message contains a patch for the problem:
<http://marc.info/?l=openbsd-ppc&m=119307108915335&w=2>

Hope it's useful

Thanks a lot Marco.
Actually I found that page, but I was looking for an easier solution,
because I only have MacOS X Leopard installed in my powerbook, and I have no
idea how to compile an openbsd-kernel in my Darwin 9.6 system. It is the
only powerpc computer I have.
I will try to use Qemu to emulate a powerpc computer and install openbsd on
it, and later try to build a customized boot-cd.
If there is any better option please let me know.

I am reading faq section 4 and 5 to understand all of the options.

Maybe Theo de Raadt could commit this
patch<http://mail-index.netbsd.org/port-macppc/2007/10/01/0000.html>the
the current release of the macppc port and I would gladly test and
report the results to the community.
I had seen this patch made into the netbsd tree but I really want to use
Openbsd, if I install netbsd in my machine I will end up using it instead of
Openbsd.

Thanks in advance guys.
