Installed 2.4.2.3 on OSX 10.5 but no "mono" commandI admit to not having touched a Mac since OS8. I have had no trouble
with mono on Linux. I downloaded the Mono 2.4.2.3 CDSK for PowerPC to my G4, and opened the dmg file. That showed me a pkg file, which I opened. That ran an installer, which it said was successful. Opened a Terminal, but the "mono" command is unknown. Am I missing a step? _______________________________________________ Mono-osx mailing list Mono-osx@... http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/mono-osx |

The C SDK is the headers, static libs, etc for libmono. It's mostly only useful if you're embedding the Mono runtime in a native app. You need the Mono framework package. -- Michael Hutchinson http://mjhutchinson.com _______________________________________________ Mono-osx mailing list Mono-osx@... http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/mono-osx |

Re: Installed 2.4.2.3 on OSX 10.5 but no "mono" commandWell, on the page at www.go-mono.com/mono-downloads/download.html
when I click on the "Mac OS X" icon, the list of things it presents to down load includes only: 1. The CSDK for all combinations of Intel/PPC 2. A MonoDevelop Preview 3. Cocoa# 0.9.5 source Where do I get the framework itself from? It says it will include Gtk# too. Am I supposed to compile it from source? Re: Installed 2.4.2.3 on OSX 10.5 but no "mono" commandI see what I did. Each line in the list actually has two different
downloads on it. I just picked the wrong word to click on.
