	Installing Abaqus CAE 6.9 on Windows 7 64Bit by AndyKr :: Rate this Message: Reply to Author \| View Threaded \| Show Only this Message Hi, Does anybody know if it's possible to install Abaqus CAE 6.9 64Bit onto a Windows 7 64Bit PC. The Abaqus installer claimed to see a 32Bit Windows and exited... (but for sure it's Windows 7 64Bit!). Is there any workaround? Many thanks in advance! I know that a VM will work, but due to performance and maintenance reasons I want to install Abaqus directly onto Windows7 64Bit. First you can try it on a VM and you can see if it works. Secondly, if it works well, you can install on your machine with Win 7 64bit. Even if I suggest you to install Abaqus on a Linux machine.
