Installing problem - DVD-SATA

Hello,

having motherboard here with DVD-ROM connected via SATA and have some problem with installation process.
After detecting keyboard having warning "No common CD-ROM drive was detected."
I've tried do it manually without success.

Is there some workaround for this issue?

Was this with 2.1 or a 3.0 beta? The 2.1 installer has known problems
with some SATA chipsets.
