Our office is located in the northern part of Guangzhou, and 5 minutes from Guangdong Foreign Language University, i.e. the largest foreign language university in Southern China, which allow our tenant to hire English speaking part time staff easily, which we believe is critical for small foreign companies. As many of them would like to work with part time or temporary staff, before they make the commitment to hire full time staff in China.  

In order to charge the most cost effective prices, we do not choose to set up our office in city center, we are 30 minutes from Guangzhou East Station or CBD such as Tianhe District, Garden Hotel, China Hotel or Pazhou Exhibition Center. So, you need to decide if you mind to spend 30 minutes per day to commute from our office to city center.

What are the pros and cons of serviced office suite?
Pros
You do not need to bear all the hassle in setting up an office in China, which is a terrible experience.

Besides, at the time, when you are facing tons of uncertainty, include not sure about if your service or product would be well accepted in China, not sure if you should focus on Southern or Northern China, Not sure if you should focus on Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou or Shenzhen, not sure if you can shift part of the office function from your home town to China, not sure if you can find the right staff in Guangzhou, not sure if you would rapidly expand in future, not sure if you would like to set up a decent and well decorated office in Grade A office building to impress your client or try to use the most cost effective office solution, so you can have more time to decide your long term strategy.

At the time, when you are not sure about the location, size of your office, of course, it is hard to make the long term commitment of signing a 2 year lease. By using the executive office suite, you have the complete freedom to decide the no. of workstation you would like to lease and you can decide the terms which ranges from 1 month to 2 year.

Cons:
The greatest problem in using an executive office suite is: you cannot register your own company in China.  

One of the very strange regulation in China is: you have to offer a formal leasing contract in order to apply for registration of your own company, which most of the executive office suite is not able to offer such contract.

Therefore, if you have full commitment in China and are 100% sure about your future strategy, include your size, scale, positioning of your business, you should lease your own office directly.

We fully understand as a foreign small businessman, you face lots of uncertainty in entering this  new market and the least you want is to spend huge resources in buying all sorts of fixed asset and you are eager to minimize your initial investment. Therefore, we even include computer in all inclusive package, so you do not need to worry about depreciation of your IT investment and go through the hassle of moving the IT equipment when you set up your own new office.
