Intercall System

I was wondering if anyone had any experience of using the Intercall System (see attached) or of any other systems that might suit our purposes. 

 

I am currently working on a project at a family assessment centre for parents with learning disabilities.  Owing to concerns around the childrens safety we are legally obliged to have a system of monitoring those children staying at the centre overnight. 

 

The attached system has been recommended but we have some concerns about whether the microphones are effective over a wide area as some of the rooms that would be monitoring are very large and we cannot guarantee that the child will always be put to bed in a fixed location as some sleep in Moses baskets e.t.c. 

 

I would really appreciate any feedback that people have or any recommendations for other types of equipment. Conventional baby monitors are not appropriate in the location because of conflicts with the system that the parents themselves use.
