Rakshak Foundation is organizing a Seminar & Panel Discussion. This 3-hour seminar will provide a stage to discuss and find a way forward to address the present issues in the effective implementation of RTI Act. The seminar would include Lectures from an eminent Panel of RTI Experts, Debate/Discussions and Question & Answer session.

This seminar will provide a stage to discuss Right to Information Act, how it could be better implemented so most of the mandatory disclosure is put in the public domain (eg. proper disclosure as per Section 4) and how fee structure could be changed so it could be properly used by NRIs. Seminar sets up a stage for the public views, question and answer and interaction with RTI activists, Central information commissioner and academicians. This unique opportunity is for public benefit.
