Invitation to submit abstract(s) to Applied Microbiology 2007II International Conference on Environmental, Industrial and Applied Microbiology (BioMicroWorld2007), Seville (Spain), 28 November - 1 December 2007 http://www.formatex.org/biomicroworld2007 Abstracts deadline: 17 September / Early Registration deadline: 22 August Dear colleague, On behalf the organisers, you are cordially invited to send abstracts of your best research for presentation at the forthcoming II International Conference on Environmental, Industrial and Applied Microbiology (BioMicroWorld2007), to be held in Seville (Spain) from 28 November to 1 December 2007. All the information regarding this interdisciplinary conference can be found at the conference website: http://www.formatex.org/biomicroworld2007 Modern microbiology includes a broad variety of scholarly approaches leading to a better understanding of all living things at the macroscopic, microscopic/single-cell and nanoscopic/molecular level, producing beneficial applications in medicine, agriculture, industry, and ecology. The Conference will specially welcome papers reporting interdisciplinary researchers, relating microbiology with other sciences as physics/chemistry, environmental sciences, materials science, polymer science, genetics, pharmacology, microscopy/imaging science, etc. In other words, we are specially (but not exclusively) interested in papers that relate the techniques and culture of microbiology to research areas usually associated with other scientific and engineering disciplines. GENERAL TOPICS OF BIOMICROWORLD2007 Space Microbiology, Astro(micro)biology IMPORTANT DATES Abstract submission deadline: 17 September 2007 Early registration deadline: 22 August 2007 Final registration deadline: 21 November 2007 Full paper submission for publication: On-site (28 November 1 December)
Proceedings Book A multi-volume book will be published including full papers of works (oral, posters and virtual posters) presented at the Conference. The paper length will be 5 printed pages. Submission of full papers is optional.
In addition to the "traditional" oral contributions and posters presentations, a Virtual Participation modality has been established for those researchers unable to attend the Conference personally. Please consult the conference website: http://www.formatex.org/biomicroworld2007/virtual/ COLLABORATION PROJECTS: SEARCH FOR PARTNERS BioMicroWorld2007 will also serve as a platform for partners search for trans-national collaboration projects, like for example the EU Seventh Framework Program (Networks of Excellence, Integrated Projects and Specific Targeted Research or Innovation Project). All ideas/proposals for collaboration will be included in a booklet which will be distributed at the beginning of the Conference and/or posted at the conference website. If you are interested in taking part, please send us the corresponding form available at the website. RESEARCH GROUPS Send details of your group activities (research topics, members, projects, publications...).
