Is Banshee using the depricated last.fm API? (last.fm no longer streams)

Is Banshee using the depricated last.fm API? And if so is this planning to be rectified.

Below is the problem I am having, and it seems many other people are also.

Running Banshee 1.4.3: [Ubuntu jaunty (development branch) (linux-gnu, i486) @ 2009-03-22 18:04:14 UTC]

Wireshark shows a 'RST/ACK' from 195.24.233.48

This would appear to be due to a change in the API, announcement (The Future of Last.fm Radio APIs) made at URL:

Banshee is still using the old API, and it's now disabled.
