Is audio already supported in gossip telepathy

I have gossip telepathy installed in ubuntu feisty. The chatting part
works fine, but I thought it was also possible to use audio with
google talk, but I don't see it anywhere in the GUI. Isn't audio
support in gossip yet? Or is it not enabled on ubuntu?

The main Gossip tree doesn't contain support for this. Someone is
working on this outside of the Gossip project at the moment. I don't
know what the current status of this is and can't currently remember
where that branch is available.

You have to use my own telepathy branch of gossip which containes the
voip:video stuff, and of course you need the telepathy stack as well.

Two questions

1) What kind of voip and video is supported on your branch?
2) Any idea when this gets merged into gossip mainline?

1) Voip/Video is handled by jingle, meaning jabber-to-jabber (using
jingle enabled clients) and gtalk/jabber or gtalk only works. Of course
as more backends support the telepathy media streaming spec, gossip will
have more and more support for the various protocols

2) We were hoping to merge this this weekend at fosdem, maybe it won't
be done, but it should happen soon.

The official Google Talk client doesn't support video yet, right? Does
that mean that I can only video conference with somebody who also has
gossip telepathy installed.
