Hi,

It may be basic or asked before but still.... ,does Ecos have microcode for the npe's ? which can configure the npe as eternet, atm, hss ... ,I have options like

1)Ecos has npe's microcode , then can directly use that.

2)I have got the npe microcode for linux by name GPL_ixp400LinuxEthernetDriverPatch-1_5_1.zip so are there any tools that can map the linux code to ecos

3)In ecos by default Grg image is looking for the pci bus for configuring the ethernet pci_init_find_82559s why is it doing so.

any pointers in this regard is helpful

Thanks & regards,
Sumanth

The eCos CVS repository does not have the NPE microcode because of
license issues with it and the Intel CSR library. You can grab both
from Intel:
