Is it possible boot from SAn storage

All,

The Blade server is connected to SAN Storage. Is it possible have linux OS image on SAN storage and boot from it? Just have a thought and have never done this before.

Yes. Linux can boot from AoE or iSCSI volumes after PXE is used
to get the kernel up.
