I don't want to clutter bugzilla with unnecessary submissions but I've found a UI flaw in Gnome, which I've posted about here:

If someone can help me clean up this report or advise of where to submit it, that would be great.

Gimp and OOffice are not part of the GNOME Desktop (but related).

Regarding Gedit and Evolution you may want to rise this on  
Desktop-devel-list and also list
other main GNOME applications along with their key bindings (file-roller  
etc.)
