Building on the success of the Islamic Financial Sector Development Forum (IFSD Forum) which was held in Kuwait on May 28, 2006, and in order to further streamline the future path of the industry, and enhance the role of Islamic finance in promoting inclusive financial sectors, the General Council for Islamic Bank And Financial Institution CIBAFI and the Islamic Research and Training Institute IRTI, have felt the importance of organizing the second version of similar events to discuss topics that are of vital strategic and policy interest to the Islamic financial industry
