Issues about paintbrush

Hi all,

I wonder is it posible that issue 29524 and issue 83535 could be
resolved earlier? Many feedbacks from users regard them as defect.

And that operations are really commonly used in daily work.

Best regards,

Hello Lihua,

you should highlight these issues in the UX project
(discuss@...). I think there
you will get more feedback on your request.

Since when is it that the UX project decides about the resources :-)

The issues are enhancements and I couldn't found a clear solution in
the issues. Therefore the issues have to be clarified in the UX project
first. Therefore I prefer to ask in the UX project first.

Was what I thought as well. But it is - looking at the UX list, not yet
clear for Lihua.
Will be explained on that list (by me or someone else) ...

Cor

Correction:

http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=83535 ask for rethinking
the spec (#desc8)
But in http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=29524 I do not
see any need for further discussion. Or am I wrong?

It looks like, that the styles concept needs to rewritten for such
issues (see comments in duplicate issues). Perhaps it's easy to fix one
of the problems, but at the end some others will appear and others
aren't solvable. Therefore these are issues for the UX project in my
opinion. They have to decide what is wanted and what isn't wanted.
And perhaps there isn't any interest to change something here.

When I was unclear with my direction to the UX project, I'm sorry
about that.

Thorsten

Thanks for pointing to the dups. Info was not so difficult to find, and
I linked to it in 29524.

Thanks, is OK.
I could have jumped in earlier as well.. but then would have missed the
info for the specs in the dups. So in the end, we did well ;-)
