Hello,
We are upgrading to JIRA 4 (v4.0#466) from JIRA 3.11 (Enterprise Edition, Version: 3.11-#288) and are seeing strange behavior with the JIRA Calendar Plugin. We followed the instructions according to the [JIRA documentation|
http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAEXT/JIRA+Calendar+Plugin]. When viewing a portlet (one that was created before the upgrade) of the Calendar plugin on JIRA 4, we get the following error:
{quote}
An internal server error occurred when requesting resource
http://oursite/rest/calendar-plugin/1.0/calendar/htmlcalendar.html?dateFieldName=&displayVersions=false&numOfIssueIcons=10&context=gadget&portletId=12552&includeContainer=true&searchRequestId=11621.
{quote}
And if we click on the link it provides, it displays the following message:
{quote}
A message body writer for Java type, class com.atlassian.plugins.rest.common.Status, and MIME media type, application/octet-stream, was not found
{quote}
Note that if we add a JIRA Calendar gadget by clicking on 'Add Gadget' and then 'JIRA Issues Calendar', it works fine. Shouldn't the existing Calendar portlets be converted correctly?
Thanks in advance.
