JIRA works internally, but not when port-forwarded from the internetHello,
I'm trying to troubleshoot this problem. Jira is working fine internally, but when people access the portforwarded address (http://URL:8080) from outside the internal network, this error happens : {code} HTTP Status 404 - type Status report message description The requested resource () is not available. Apache Tomcat/5.5.28 {code} The same address works fine internally. Could this be a NAT issue? Does anyone have JIRA working internally and externally? How did you set it up? Thanks in advance for your help Regards Jason -- Post by Jas_tko - online at: http://forums.atlassian.com/thread.jspa?forumID=46&threadID=38591 _______________________________________________ Jira-user mailing list Jira-user@... Re: JIRA works internally, but not when port-forwarded from the internetI would say it is a firewall or DNS problem.

Re: JIRA works internally, but not when port-forwarded from the internetSimilar issue here...
My Jira Instance is in port 8080. The public address is in port 80. I am using MS ISA Server 2006 to publish the web site with the bridging port option (80 -> 8080). The site works fine internally, and externally seems to work fine, except because the gadgets doesn't get resolved. In the login screen the message is this: Error loading gadget: org.apache.shindig.gadgets.GadgetException: Unable to retrieve gadget xml. HTTP error 504 And the error message in the log is this: 2009-11-11 22:22:03,610 http-8080-Processor24 WARN anonymous 80522x2x1 1l1k88d http://arplanner.ids.com.mx/secure/Dashboard.jspa [gadgets.embedded.internal.GadgetUrlBuilder] GadgetUrlBuilder: could not parse spec at rest/gadgets/1.0/g/com.atlassian.jira.gadgets/gadgets/login.xml -- Post by ramgs - online at: http://forums.atlassian.com/thread.jspa?forumID=46&threadID=38591 _______________________________________________ Jira-user mailing list Jira-user@...
