The Centre for Workforce Intelligence is looking to hire a Principal Statistician to lead our data improvement programme, identify workforce data gaps and quality concerns and implement a strategy to improve them.
Salary £30-40,000 per annum. Based in London or Winchester. Available as a 12 month fixed-term contract or on secondment. The closing date for this position is midnight Friday 29 June 2012.
About the role:
We are looking for a candidate with a track record of providing high-level statistical support and managing statistical projects. You will have proven ability to collect data from a range of sources, conduct data validation and cleaning, and prepare high-quality statistical outputs in a range of formats. The ideal candidate will be highly numerate, able to analyse and interpret data and identify key statistical findings. You will be a proficient MS Excel user with experience in using quantitative software (e.g. SPSS, SAS, Stata) We are looking for a strong communicator, with excellent writing and interpersonal skills and experience engaging with senior managers and stakeholders.
