JOB: Statistical Programmer | LOCATION: LondonJOB: Permanent Stats Programmer
LOCATION: London, England, UK I'm working with an employer who are looking to recruit a permanent programmer that has experience of working on developing either mathematical or numerical programs. The job will be based in London. You need to have experience of both scripting (R would be very applicable but not vital, although if you don't have experience of R you will have to learn it!) and also compiled languages (pref C++). The more languages you have the better, but it will not be a show stopper if you have only a few (for example, good knowledge of one scripting language and C++ would be OK!). Experience of using MySQL or similar would be good! Please contact me off-list if you'd like to speak with me about this. My e-mail address is james@... Re: JOB: C++ Programmer | LOCATION: LondonHello ~
I'm recruiting for a hedge fund (type) business (based in London, England, UK) that are looking for good C++ programmers with preferably some experience in statistical modeling/programming/analysis. Perhaps you are a statistician, mathematician or physicist (for example) by background but a programmer by experience (or a graduate)? You should ideally also have scripting experience in one if not more languages such as R, Python, Perl etc. Experience with MySQL would be good but not mandatory but it is important you have experience of working in a Linux environment. There is much more to the job than just scripting and programming, potentially you could find yourself becoming actively involved in statistical side too of the business too. Working environment is in-formal (no-ties, smart/casual). To learn more please contact me using james<at>camalyn.org Kind regards, JAMES . . . .
