Hi folks,
i have "jack" and "ALSA" installed on my SuSE 11 Linux 2.6 workstation together with a Aureon 7.1 PCI sound card. I can play musik with "mpd" via "jack" but cannot control the volume with means of "alsamixer" nor "amixer". I can see the associated volume control slider for all channels but only "Master" has an effect. When i play the musik direcly to the defined "ALSA PCM output" everything is working fine! How can I control the volume when using "jack" and "ALSA".
