Jack problemBonjour,
Soundtracker works fine with jack when listening modules ; But, when trying to only playing a sample, he complain about resource busy ; jack stopped, the sample can be played. It seems that jack only works for listening complete modules, not for working with soundtracker....strange, isn't it ? cordialement, my set : ubuntu on a p4 ,asus motherboard with a low-latency kernel (2.6.19+ingo's molnar patch) , integrated soundcard (snd-intel8x0 for AD1980 ) ; soundtracker 0.6.8 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys. I never use jack + ST with success since more 1 year. Some users have this problem. The most simple is to use OSS only or oss2jack (http://www.linuxmao.org/tikiwiki/tiki-index.php?page=Jack&highlight=oss2jack#Oss2jack). Re: I want VST and SF2/DLS supportHi, MaxamCPC!
BTW, I want both them also, too :-) (maybe LADSPA rather than VST, because it's free and have more appropriate way to control it from the main application... and also there is a LADSPA rack for VST but not opposite!) But I have only a pair of hands and very little free time... so when I'll have finished GTK+-2 ST port, I'm going to implement various improvements... including things you want! But nobody knows when it'll happen... Best regards, Yury. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys. Earn Cash.
