Japanese thingsI've come to a couple of Bi Kyo Ran albums. I can't read the characters, I don't have a japanese font, it seems, I just get the Unicode box, or whatever it is. While one has an english release title which I can work with, I don't know which one matches the other release "Parallax", or even if it's there at all.
How do I get to see the japanese characters, just for a start? Peter |

Alternatively there should be an option in regional settings in the control panel to support asian languages. As for jap releases in general, googling around and copy-pasting is your friend. The nice thing about japanese is that they're sticklers for accuracy, so with the cat# or barcode you can usually find anything you need. -- Per / Wizzcat _______________________________________________ MusicBrainz-users mailing list MusicBrainz-users@... http://lists.musicbrainz.org/mailman/listinfo/musicbrainz-users |

I don't use IE. The regional settings want me to insert a disc I don't have. _______________________________________________ MusicBrainz-users mailing list MusicBrainz-users@... http://lists.musicbrainz.org/mailman/listinfo/musicbrainz-users Peter |

It's usually a issue of missing fonts as few of them have all 10k+ Unicode characters. If you're using Windows, these files should be on the windows disc. (if you don't have a windows disc, you may have a rescue disc or rescue partition with these files on it, contact your computer supplier for support on that). Alternatively, one of the windows fonts which has very good unicode coverage is "arialuni.ttf". This used to be shipped with Microsoft Word or Microsoft Office, probably still is. Try looking for that font and installing it. -- kuno / warp. _______________________________________________ MusicBrainz-users mailing list MusicBrainz-users@... http://lists.musicbrainz.org/mailman/listinfo/musicbrainz-users |

Dizzee Rascal: N. Cage = Nick Cage?I just edited the new Dizzee Rascal album ("Tongue n' Cheek") when I saw
that there are two Dizzee Rascal producers called (N.) Cage and Nick Cage who both have a lot of AR's to DR tracks/albums. I guess they are the same. Can someone with more knowledge about this (or who's got some of these records) clear up that mess or make suggestions how to handle those AR's (merge them to one of them or make an AR between them), so that it is less inconsistent/messy? Nick Cage was probably added when I entered the Bonkers release as that's how he's credited there. But the common accreditation seems to be 'Cage' (used in the album, including for the tracks 'Bonkers' and 'Holiday' where he was Nick Cage on the singles), so I suggest a merge to that: http://musicbrainz.org/show/edit/?editid=11213388 I'll also add a Nick Cage alias on Cage. -- Andrew :-) Free Java Software Engineer Red Hat, Inc.
