Could anyone recommend a good Java Hosting service for Apache Roller? I just googled and found JavaHosting.com, but haven't worked with them yet...

Thanks in advance,

Alfonso Romero

I use kgbinternet.com and it works well. I believe Dave uses kattare.com.

Another vote for kattare.com, but I had to go with one of their more expensive plans to get enough memory for roller to run happily.

I'm extremely happy with them, though.

I've been using eApps.com for a while now, they've been really good so far.

Cheers, Edd

You could try any hosting company that gives you a virtual server.  You will
probably have to install Java, Application server your self.  Just make sure
you get enough memory.
I use a company call vaserv.com with a brand of cheapvps.co.uk.  UK and US
hosted/  Its called cheap because there is little support other than the
initial install of the operating system.  Having said that it works out
quite well for me.

kattare.com is okay for simple needs if you're willing to do
everything yourself. I outgrew them, but they've been fine for years
(and I'm still using them now -- just haven't completely migrated
yet).

I've had good luck with Java Hosting on Joyent (Solaris Zones-based hosting).

See this tweet for links to running GlassFish on Joyent as an example:
