Just Five Questions... :)Hi there, folks!
Some questions here which would like to be answered: :) 1) What could the best wishes be for a (human) Barbarian (neutral; level 12-16)? I got one wish at Dlvl #7, and the first thing I thought was "a blessed figurine of an Archon" (I realized now that a Solar might be a better pet). Dear Crom sent me a wonderful Cleaver (blessed, rustproof, +2) before, so I didn't know what kind of wish to ask for. Now I got a blessed magic lamp and there's a possibility to get another wish, so I'd like to ask for one *real* good and not waste it (although Mr. Archon ain't a bad fella, after all; he's a kind sidekick and very recommendable). 2) I've got some Dragon scales: how do I set them to make an armour, and how many I need to make it? 3) How could I turn a weapon/armour into a rust/fireproof one? A (blessed, uncursed) Can of Grease could make the miracle? 4) I got the Eye of the Beholder... but I think it's not so very useful for a Barbarian, despite some invokations it worked... well, just fine. What could I do with this artifact? Is it good to sacrifice to your god (though it's cursed)? Are Shopkeepers interested on this item? Any idea? (No, I don't wanna eat it, pals) ;) 5) How to convert an altar for your god (i.e., Temple of Moloch's)? What kind of benefits could get from this action (beside luck, I guess)? Thanks for your help! And http://www.statslab.cam.ac.uk/~eva/slashem/index.html will give the Slash'em-specific stuff. > 1) What could the best wishes be for a (human) Barbarian (neutral; level > 12-16)? Dragon scale mail is usually good but since you already have dragon scales... If you don't have a magic whistle (to go with an uberpowerful pet...), several potions of gain level might help. If you don't have a BoH, the Wallet of Perseus is nice. You can go for some other big nasty artefact weapon. Frost/Fire brand are often considered good (and #twoweaponing both can be quite funny). Otherwise, read the wishing spoiler, read the Slash'em artefacts list. > 2) I've got some Dragon scales: how do I set them to make an armour, and > how > many I need to make it? That's actually 2 questions :-) You need to enchant them. More in the spoilers... (or at the Oracle, iirc). One is sufficient, but you may want to chose the colour. > 3) How could I turn a weapon/armour into a rust/fireproof one? A > (blessed, > uncursed) Can of Grease could make the miracle? By slightly misreading a scroll that already affect it. More in the spoilers (and at Oracel, again). > 4) I got the Eye of the Beholder... but I think it's not so very useful > for > a Barbarian, despite some invokations it worked... well, just fine. What > kind of benefits could get from this action (beside luck, I guess)? By #offering something on it. See spoilers for details. I'm not sure you can convert Moloch's altar, however. -- Hypocorischtroumpf, Jym. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
