KDE3 Kaffeine trunk currently broken?I pulled the latest trunk tonight (826595), and it looks like perhaps
a new file was not checked in: make[4]: *** No rule to make target `camdialog.ui', needed by `camdialog.h'. Stop. I'm not seeing the file anywhere in the source tree. Was this just an oversight, or am I doing something wrong? Thanks, -- Devin J. Re: KDE3 Kaffeine trunk currently broken?I did a fresh checkout, and everything appears to be building properly
now. Did some testing, and it looks like the ATSC scanning support is working as expected. I noticed that you updated the libucsi, which now provides atsc support. Is the thinking that Kaffeine will leverage the libucsi codebase for the dvbsi parsing? If so, it would probably make sense for me to cut over the ATSC components as well, eliminating my homegrown parsing code. I'm admittedly a bit surprised though at the amount of change in the kde3 codebase, since I was under the impression that 0.8.6 was essentially frozen and new work was going to be solely on the kde4 codebase. Ideally, only libdvben50221 should be included, but i don't have time to separate it atm. > I'm admittedly a bit surprised though at the amount of change in the > kde3 codebase, since I was under the impression that 0.8.6 was > essentially frozen and new work was going to be solely on the kde4 > codebase. It's clear that a kde4 version of kaffeine won't be available soon, so i prefer to release a new kde3 version to let users to take advantage of the lastest changes, including atsc scanning. Christoph Pfister is working on "kaffeine4", more or less a port of kaffeine 0.8.x I work (when i have time) on kaffeinegl, which is a completely different UI approach. -- Christophe Thommeret ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sponsored by: SourceForge.net Community Choice Awards: VOTE NOW!
