Hi folks,
I have the following problem:
On 2 machines I use 2009.0 with kde3.
After the release of kde 4.2.4 version for MDV 2009.0, I decided to try kde4
again. In both machines I installed kde 4.2.4 (without kdm) and took care to
keep kde 3.
Now it is possible to use kde 3 and kde 4 on the login window (gnome also).
It works fine on one machine but it does not work on the other.
The error is that the splash screen appears and before I get the session
running , the login window appears again. The kde 4 login is aborted.
I tried to see Xorg log and messages log files (using tail -f ), but there is
no log events for the crash.
Any ideas to try to solve the problem?
