Hi there,

I am very disappointed: Why did you cease to support KMail 3.5.10?
Isn't the intention to have two branches of KDE? 3.5 and 4.x?
I quote http://www.kde.org/download:
"KDE 3.5 is the more mature version of KDE. For more
conservative users, this is the recommended version of KDE."

Why did you not check the facts? According to
http://websvn.kde.org/branches/KDE/3.5/kdepim/ the last bugfix was submitted
just 6 weeks ago. Bug your distributor if he doesn't provide updated packages.

Only until KDE 4.2. Since then KDE 4 is the superior version (4.4 will be
released in February).

That text is old -- when KDE 4.0 was still fresh. Someone should change it.

No, this is no longer the intention. KDE 3.x is discontinued, the quote from
the website is outdated. You should upgrade to KDE 4.3.

However, we at KDAB maintain a KDE3-based "enterprise" branch, which is very
actively maintained. You can use that if you want to, some distros have
packages for it.

Regards,
Thomas
