<br>name once you start entering another transaction. In case you don't wish that

<br>general options section in the kmymoney2rc file the following line (actually

<br>moment and there the behaviour is implemented as a I would expect/wish
<br>it in KMM:

<br>popup menu is opened at once (not after 5 seconds). So it seems to be
<br>not a special KDE behavior.
<br><br>I am familiar with the behavior that the application opens the popup
<br>menu at once in the other applications I am normally using (e.g.
<br>Thunderbird, Firefox, OpenOffice, Sunbird). Maybe they use some other
<br>sort of controls or there is an option to set this behavior? Maybe they
<br>are using two "connected" controls: one is the button for the "main
<br>function" (e.g. Update account) and the arrow is a separate control?

</div>You don't say which browser you were using. I'm on openSuse 11.1 and<br>
have just used Firefox to open an OFX file, and was asked whether I<br>
wanted to save or download then browsed to and selected KMM and KMM<br>
opened it successfully. I then tried on Kubuntu and that didn't work.<br>

If you're using Firefox, open Edit/Preferences/Applications and enter<br>
ofx in the search bar. You should get two entries and if you click on<br>
one of them in the 'action column, you get to choose whether to download<br>
or open, and by what. On my Kubuntu, those entries don't appear. I too<br>
have just upgraded, so whether that caused the difference, I don't know.<br>
Neither do I know yet how to add such an entry. Clicking on 'Help'<br>
on that dialog might give you a lead.<br>

<br><br>Bank 1 Good service but QIF.
<br>Bank 2 OFX, but they dropped it for CSV.
<br>Bank 3 Back to OFX, all being well.
