Hi.

I have just tried to install KMyMoney on OpenSUSE 11.1 which has QT 4.4.3 installed, but the installation failed:

checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.3 and < 4.0) (headers and libraries) not found. Please check your installation!

Please let me know if I can run KMyMoney on OpenSUSE 11.1, and if I need to install any additional software??

Kind regards
Christian

Hello Christian,
You can , but first you have to install the headers for Qt3.

Did you check Packman for a KMyMoney package for OpenSUSE 11.1?

Regards,
Alvaro

Yes, you can. I am doing the same here. All you need to do is to install the
KDE3 libs. Don't forget the development packages also. Here's what I have
installed on my box:

thb@dollo:~/devel/kmymoney2> rpm -qa | grep kdelibs3
kdelibs3-default-style-3.5.10-21.9
kdelibs3-devel-3.5.10-21.9
kdelibs3-doc-3.5.10-21.9
kdelibs3-3.5.10-21.9
kdelibs3-devel-doc-3.5.10-21.10
kdelibs3-arts-3.5.10-21.9
thb@dollo:~/devel/kmymoney2> cat /etc/SuSE-release
openSUSE 11.1 (i586)
VERSION = 11.1

Are we sure that Packman now has ofx support? (should that be needed).
It hasn't for a long time.

Strange, I've just installed it and that doesn't appear so.  The
File/Import menu has no OFX entry and the Account menu only allows
unmapping of existing accounts, not mapping or updating.

I'd just uninstalled CVS HEAD especially, so everything needed should be
there.

Close.
rpm -q libofx4
libofx4-0.9.1-42.pm.1

No other version appears in Yast. (libofx4-0.9.1-42.pm.1)
