karmic's repositories! Hello Karl,
The Karmic package would only be updated only in case of a security fix, as is the case for the Ubuntu repositories for any release. So, provided Clay keeps updating his repository, his will be more up-to-date. Which is fine, because a distro like Ubuntu is supposed to provide stable packages, and Clay's PPA is taken straight from CVS.
