Suddenly, I've got the idea that the MIDI part properbly using another mask. Then I started looking at recurring pattern using masks 00-ff. I found a pattern of some 3 bytes and 7 bytes groups:

and I also found that if I use the lyrics mask XOR 0x0e then I've got the mask for that pattern.
These are only based on 3 songs. I might be wrong.

I'm not aware of a TLIST file. As far as I can remember my findings work for v35 as well:

I could print the song list with original song numbers.
I could find the section of song data for each song.
I could unmask the lyrics.
Only missing the MIDI data.
I've done all these without TLIST

please show me the way to convert the .DAT file (it a data file as i know, in this case it a song list
to TXT or any easy format such as CSV any file we can read.

I haven't got a chance to run your MIDIs, but I trust you :-)
It would be greate if you can create the MIDI already in Unicode, ie. no extra fonts (viewer) required for XP. You can find the conversion routine for VN and CN in:

Based on your screenshots, all MIDIs are extracted with a sequence number.
I was able to read the TOC (song names) and refer it to the file contents, see:

This might help you to give your MIDI files a meaningful name.

I was able to find the lyrics, but failed to extract MIDI contents :-(

Hi Henry,
I'm not sure whether I understand you correctly. You've got all MIDI's (with lyrics) and having trouble to associate some MP3 with MIDI's? I don't mind to discard MP3 (vocal, chorus).
Honestly, the screenshots didn't tell me much. Can you explain a little more? How far you've got and what exactly is still missing?
It would be great if you could post your source codes/scripts. So everybody can try them out.

i was spending about 3 days to get all of Arriang DVD KARAOK' original midi files, if anyone can help me to arrange the midi source of vol 34 (all of arriange Karaoke DVD midi and mp3 files : order number from 00001 ) . I'll give you alll the midi files as well as uploading for dowload to all for you.

Do you happen to know a way to get updates to the Pic chip in the USA? I travel to the Philippines about twice a year, but it would be helpful to be able to get Pic service here in the US. Have you seen or heard the FeelTong? I was wondering how that unit sounded and updated. I am following the progress you make. Thanks. :)

Hi everybody. My name is Toan. I've finally finish my software for testing.

Wala-Oke. A software karaoke software that support video background.
Supports.

.kar file. midi karaoke file.
.mp3 + .lrc. mp3 file with .lrc of the same name in the same folder.
You can also put zip up the .kar files and the program will open .zip as a playlist.
Also support winamp playlist.

I'm releasing it as 0.9 until I get more feedback and improvement before releasing it as 1.0.

Welcome to forum.

Since you were searching for HOTDOG file I assume that you are using California player, right? That one is basically done, at least for 2 DVD's of different versions.

In Arirang, I couldn't progress further. The lyrics part is half way done. But no progress in MIDI at all although (I believe) the MIDI is not that hidden as the lyrics, because normal eyes won't be able to read MIDI data. So, I guess the same mask is applied to the MIDI part. Unfortunately, I still can't read it.

Currently, I don't have access to Arirang player. Without patching the data I have no chance :-( Even the analysis of patching MIDI data would be hard enough. If you can help with the MIDI part that would be great. Get the latest source code. It allows you to extract a section of data of one song.

Thank you for the files (the effort to upload them).
For those who don't know what to do with the files...
You have to merge all 10 files after download, e.g. using the DOS command:
copy /b file1+file2+... bigfile.iso
Then burn the iso-image file to disk.

how to play mpg from advante 001 hdd system in sh-300 hyundai

Hi, i'm newie here,

1. i've a friend who gave me mtv karaoke movies in advante 001 hdd system, but the player i had is hyundai sh-300. its different system though, but is it possible play it? what should i do? what tools?
2. if i had another conventional mpg, how can i copy the files to hyundai system directly (since i dont know how to open/edit the files through windows.
3. is it possible to play the files above with using direct hdd karaoke player and plug in to tv?
