I was able to find this free karaoke program developed by a vietnamese...it can support video background (mpeg) with a scoring system, enter song number code and you can print the playlist...mostly vietnamese songs...
It has a compressed midi files contained in *.mka format...
I emailed the autor of the program and ask him if he can provide a converter or compressor from midi to mka, i'm still waiting for his reply...
I posted this here coz maybe you guys are interested to check his software...so far it's the coolest free karaoke program ive ever downloaded since the mid 90's :-)
