Kaspersky update issue

Hi,

Anyone having any issues of slowdown computer performance after recent
upgrade of Kaspersky Anivirus? We are an Enterprise Solution Provider
here and lots of users have started complaining of computer slow down
at the same time.

Wondering what is going on!

This happens upgrading from what version to what version?  Is it a general slowdown of everything on the computer, or only specific software, or only when a specific process in running (such as outlook poling the mail server for mail)?  We had mega problems going from KAV 5 to KAV 6 on XP with outlook.  With machines that run Vista, KAV 6 works great with outlook for us.  Are there any such consistencies between your clients issues?

Hi Teena,

Sorry for my typo in the previous mail. It is not an 'upgrading'
issue, rather it should be 'update'. It's happening all of a sudden in
several installations,which I am assuming have something to do with
the recent update received. We had this issue with Kaspersky earlier
too and then they sent a fix to work around.

All the installations I am talking about are running Kaspersky
Business Space Secutiry version 6.

Yes, I have as well on a small number of machines.
The File System protection was eating up all the resources, so for today,
I disabled that section of protection, and the system resources
dropped back to normal.
