Hi all!

Has anyone managed to make gpsd work with a Kirrio GPS model BR-306?
It is the GPS receiver from a palm navigation kit which was sold in
2004/2005.

It runs on serial port at 4800 Baud 8N1. At least, at this setting I get
some data (cat < /dev/ttyS0 prints out something).

But gpsd seems not to recognize the data. When started with debugging,
it prints messages about probing baud rates and giving up.

I can provide the raw data captured from the GPS module.

Any help is appreciated.

Frank

I think you probably need to run gpsd with "-D" to get some better
debugging info and post that - it seems to give quite a lot of info on
what it's doing
