Has anyone here found a source of blind grommets for the Korg MS
series? My MS-20 lacks all 8 blind grommets (why do people remove
these & not put them back?) and I'd really like to replace them.

Also does anyone have an A or C (normal C not the odd-shaped top C)
key to sell or know where I can get them?

Thanks, Matt

I don't know about the Korg ones, but the rubber Roland ones can go hard
and are thus very difficult to get off in one piece. I also guess some
of them simply break up and fall out as they age. I seem to remember
finding bits of them inside one instrument once.

I used to not put them back after I had taken them off, simply returning
them to the customer in a small plastic bag. It was then up to them
whether they fitted them back.

The early plastic ARP ones are horrible to get out.

These days you can buy various plastic plugs to do the job from the
usual electronic parts suppliers. I don't know where you are Matt, but
Farnell sell them in EU - look under 'hole plugs'.
