Hi Murray,
LDTPv1 is based on at-cspi (c library - based on CORBA), LDTPv2 based on
pyatspi (currently based on CORBA / by GNOME 3.0 will be based on DBUS).
v1 and v2 API should be compatible, if not its bug in LDTPv2. This call
for testing is to make sure, all your existing scripts works fine on v2
as well.
