Summary: LG Dare, XP SP3, BitPim finds the phone and connects just fine.
But BitPim shows 56 images in the Media/Images directly (no SD card
installed) while the phone shows 126.
Longer: I had connected the phone to the computer several months ago,
but it is my wife's phone and all she does is use it as a phone, so I
did not actually use BitPim since then. But we are going to start now. I
saw that there was a new version of BitPim so I deleted the old version
and just installed the new one. I then connected the phone and all was
fine. But I only see 56 images in the media/images directly. Some are
since the last time I connected, some are not. (At least I am 90% sure
of that but you never know.)
I suspect that this is a user error, but I don't know what or where to
start. I looked through the archives, but could not find anything
relevant. I read the help file, ditto. So what am I missing?
