LG Dare issuesI have an iMac with a 2Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo with 1GB 667 Mhz DDR2 SDRAM. OS version is 10.4.11 I have an LG Dare (LG-VX9700) SW Version VX970V05. I have downloaded and run Tiger-bitpim-1.0.6.ppc.dmg Connected with USB cable Out of Box. Settings are as follows. Phone Type LG-VX9700(Dare) Com Port /dev/cu.usbmodem0000105D1 Timeout 30.0 Status bar reads [green dot] Ready [Progress bar] BitPim 1.0.6.ppc/latest <Unknown> [Yellow Dot] LG-VX9700 (Dare) on /dev/cu.usbmodem0000105D1 - Manually Set Last four lines on Log are 11:30:49.882 Checking for model: SCP-5400 11:30:49.882 Checking for model: SCP-5500 11:30:49.884 Checking for model: SCP-6600 (Katana) 11:30:49.947 Likely ports:[] At this point I plug in my phone. On the phone select Sync option Data. In program press Detect phone. {Please finish reading before RTFM, STFW and similar responses} Receive error Phone Detection Failed No phone detected/recognized. Run Settings? I am concerned since the program is looking for the wrong phone at the end of the log. Is there something wrong with my settings? I am also unsure why it checks for all the phones listed when I request a specific one in the settings. Thanks for your help if you can offer it.
